Be'eroth Bene-Jaakan

Be'eroth Bene-Jaakan ((ヘブライ語:בְּנֵי יַעֲקָן, ''Be'eroth B'nei Ya'akan'')) also known as Be'eroth, Bene Jaakan or Bene-Jaakan, "the wells of the children of Jaakan", is one of the places the Israelites stopped at during their Exodus journey to the Promised Land.
According to , the Israelites "departed from Moseroth and camped at Bene Jaakan, and then moved from Bene Jaakan and camped at Hor Hagidgad", but according to , "the children of Israel journeyed from the wells of Bene Jaakan to Moserah" (or Mosera) after the second occasion when Moses had been given the Ten Commandments inscribed on two tablets of stone. The stage reported in the Book of Numbers represents two legs among 24 recorded in summary in whereas at this point in the Deuteronomy narrative only four stations of the Exodus are mentioned (Bene Jaakan, Moserah, Gudgodah and Jotbathah).
It was at the Bene Jaakan station that the tribe of Levi warred with those Israelites wishing to return to Egypt. (J. Talmud` Sotah CH. 1)
